Há diversas maneiras de mensurar o número de palavras traduzidas por dia. Nossa dica é a utilização do aplicativo “Toggl”, que ajuda a monitorar e registrar o tempo gasto em uma determinada tarefa. Você pode marcar o tempo gasto para traduzir um texto e depois fazer o calculo com o número de palavras do texto.
Para calcular o número de palavras do texto, pode usar a ferramenta “Count Anything”, que conta o número de palavras e de caracteres em textos e documentos em diversos formatos.

É muito bom saber a realidade da produtividade diária de um tradutor. Eu ainda sou estudante de tradução e não sei quantas palavras consigo traduzir por dia. Mas acho válido saber a média de produção de um tradutor para não criar expectativa.
Estou nessa média de 2 mil a 3 mil palavras por dia. Se for um trabalho cujo assunto tenho muita familiaridade consigo render mais.

Eu geralmente traduzo cerca de 2.500 palavras por dia. Mas confesso que já consegui traduzir até 5.000 palavras em um único dia para um projeto específico. O cliente forneceu a TM e a maioria das palavras já estava na TM.
